Cong greets people on Eid-ul-Fitr | KNO

Srinagar, May 23 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Saturday extended greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr and prayed for their wellbeing. JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir in a statement issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) felicitated people on the very auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, hoping that the occasion will be the harbinger of peace and stability in the entire world especially in Jammu and Kashmir. “Eid-ul-Fitr is a unique occasion, full of blessing from Almighty Allah providing us the opportunity to enlighten ourselves about the right and the wrong, besides guiding us to follow the path of righteousness and truthfulness,” Mir said. I wish people a very happy and prosperous Eid Ul Fitr, hoping that this auspicious occasion will usher in an era of inclusive development of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. On this occasion I would urge upon the Govt to reach out to poor and needy and provide them some financial assistance and free ration, at the same time, I would also appeal people to help poor and needy in their respective areas, PCC President added –(KNO)
